Gesche Hein is a Berlin based production designer who loves creating, shaping and realising visual ideas.
From the first concept sketch to the final set design, she develops and organises the realisation of production designs together with her exceptionally experienced team.
In 2001 whilst studying architecture, she accidentally stumbled into the field of art department and knew immediately that she was in the right place - this was where her childhood dream of joining a circus finally met her passion to create.
At the start of her career, she contributed in every position of the art department for commercials, music videos, documentaries and feature films. Having worked as an assistant production designer, set dresser, prop maker, prop master, standby, set decorator and art director she's learnt every aspect of the job from scratch. It was only a matter of time until she decided to start working as a production designer herself.
Since 2003 Gesche Hein has been designing sets for tv commercials, photo shoots, music videos, events and interior.
